100 Monkeys is a band of which J.Bone (aka Jackson Rathbone, aka Jasper Hale) is a member. The band gots its name from "the hundredth monkey effect generally describes the instant, paranormal spreading of an idea or ability to the remainder of a population once a certain portion of that population has heard of the new idea or learned the new ability… hmm." I saw them in concert in September. Their music is eclectic and eccentric - with a sense of humour. Just a lot of fun! The first song is about a plane going down in flames and the second song is their improvisational part of the concert where they perform a song based on suggestions from the audience, this night it was 'David Bowie'.
