It is no secret that I adore the writing of Aaron Sorkin (see my many posts on "The Social Network", which should have won Best Picture, but I digress). I have been a Sorkinite since his "West Wing" days. Sorkin's latest project is HBO's "The Newsroom" which debuts on June 24, 2012. It follows the goings-ons of a fictional newsroom with Jeff Daniels as the anchor Will McAvoy and Emily Mortimer as Mackenzie McHale the executive producer. Some have compared it to the film "Broadcast News", which I much enjoyed. I can't wait to see this show. See a brief behind-the-scenes look at what will no doubt be another award-winning program for HBO.
